OVERVIEW
I worked with the Stanford Graduate School of Business’ Communications and Marketing team to design the brand identity for a new podcast based on Stanford GSB faculty research. The goal was to create a logotype and brand identity for both a main image, as well as episodic art that could be made into a template to feature different faculty.

PROCESS
We started by each coming up with thumbnail sketches, and then rough digital versions including potential color palettes and logotypes. Below are a sample of my initial sketches, and the first several rounds of digital ideas. As you can see, the last version with the line drawings in the background was chosen, with a slightly different title treatment and different color palette.

ILLUSTRATIONS
I created a series of illustrations to be used throughout the podcast season artwork that are done in a continuous line drawing style to emulate a “white-board” feel, as well as illustrate the idea of “If/Then” or action/reaction. The illustrations all represent different areas of Business, Leadership and Society.
